Brightspace Video Assignments

Video Assignment is a tool used in Brightspace that allows you to complete video based course activities. Depending on how your instructor sets up the activity, you may be asked to record a presentation, upload a video, respond to questions on camera, work with group members, review a classmate’s submission, or answer questions while watching an interactive video.

Brightspace offers four main Video Assignment types: Individual Assignment, Group Assignment, Question & Answer, and Interactive Video.

instructors may use a combination of synchronous and asynchronous video tools. A video assessment tool that is integrated with Brightspace (D2l). Video Assignments give you the flexibility to incorporate new types of assessments into your courses, such as real-world simulations, role-play scenarios, debates, peer reviews, and other creative ways to evaluate your students. After an individual or group completes a video exercise, they submit their recording assessment and feedback from their instructor and peers.
