In honor of Open Education Week (click here for more information), CITL’s Learning Technology Coaches have prepared a series of workshops for Memorial’s instructors and staff. This session will focus on the educational value and use of open source/free technologies in post-secondary classrooms and demonstrate a variety of such tools. A guest speaker, Dr. David Churchill (Department of Computer Science, MUN), will provide an example and discuss the benefits of  using  a free, open-source broadcasting platform in remote or online teaching.
