CITL’s teaching and learning team are available offers support for on-campus and online instructors who wish to implement technology into their courses. This support includes:
- Online resources;
- Hands-on workshop and training sessions; and,
- Individualized sessions with instructional designers
Semester Start Drop-In Sessions
A few weeks before and during the start of each term, CITL hosts drop-in sessions to help faculty and instructional staff get their course sites ready for the upcoming term. These drop-in sessions are ideal for quick questions, or exploring something with the just-in-time guidance and support of CITL’s teaching and learning team. These sessions are hosted in the Teaching and Learning Exchange – TLX (ED1001). No appointment necessary You are welcome to use the technology in the TLX or bring your own device.

Brightspace (D2L) Workshops
CITL’s teaching and learning team offers a number of Brightspace workshops throughout the academic year. Each workshop is scheduled for 2 hours; the first hour is a presentation and 2nd hour allows you to apply/practice what was covered. Session topics include:
- Getting Started with Brightspace (D2L): for Online and On-campus Instructors

- Increasing Instructor Presence in Brightspace (D2L)
