Setting up a Quiz and Security Settings

June 3, 2020 @ 10:00 AM - 11:30 AM

Quizzes are a popular tool for assessing student learning, however when taken online, academic integrity becomes a concern.  While applying relevant security settings, instructors need to be careful not to hinder student learning.  There is no way (in class or online) to guarantee that students aren’t cheating, but to maximize quiz security there are various quiz and availability settings to consider. During this session we will demonstrate how to set up a quiz and apply the appropriate security settings to improve the integrity of the exam.

This session will be hosted in Online Rooms:  https://ysu-na.youseeu.com/sync-activity/invite/739219/e056643ecefc5a5a9a59654821ef2ff5?lti-scope=d2l-resource-syncmeeting-list

The room will open 15 minutes before the start of the session.

It is recommended that you access the room using either of the following internet browsers:  ChromeMicrosoft Edge (Chromium) or Firefox
