Introduction to Rubrics: What, when, where and why? (CITL Instructor Series)

Rubrics can help communicate your expectations for student work and facilitate fair marking. Creating clear criteria for success supports students’ learning in the discipline and allows them to critically prepare and reflect on their work.

In this session, Dr. Sinclair explains how to develop a valid rubric and provides an opportunity for hands-on construction of a rubric for one of your assignments.

This is an online session and it will be recorded. You can join the session 10 minutes before the start time. It is recommended that you attend this session using one of the following internet browsers:  ChromeMicrosoft Edge (Chromium) or Firefox.
