Teaching online for the first time or need a refresher? This session will cover the basics to help get you started, including:

• Introduction to CITL Support Staff, including your course maintenance assistant;
• Logging into Brightspace and accessing your course site;
• Using course mail and announcements to contact your students;
• Monitoring discussion forums;
• Grading submissions and providing student feedback in the Quiz and Assignment tools;
• Setting up the Gradebook to track and return grades to students.
• Introduction to exam administration

Duration: 2 hours (1 hour session; 1 hour Q&A/drop-in)
