The Assignments tool in Brightspace provides instructors with a consistent location to collect student work. Instructors can also evaluate and return student submissions directly in Brightspace. The Assignments tool has a built-in annotation tool, a range of grading features (e.g., rubrics, audio/video feedback), and can be linked to the grade book for an efficient transfer of student grades.

This session will walk you through the steps of creating your assignment folders, setting restrictions, granting special access, as well as using the grading features.

This session will be hosted in Webex. You can join the session 10 minutes before the start time. It is recommended that you attend this session using one of the following internet browsers: Chrome, Microsoft Edge or Firefox.
