Brightspace: The LMS offered by Desire2Learn. This learning environment is what Memorial has been using for the past number of years – just with a new name. You will see in recent CITL communications, Brightspace (D2L) is referenced when referring to the LMS.
Daylight: Brightspace’s new user interface. To keep with the demand from users of mobile and other devices, Desire2Learn built a new user interface that is mobile responsive and more accessible. The functionality of the LMS is the same, there’s just a cleaner, more responsive look to the learning space.
