Authentic learning through public engagement (CITL Instructor Series)

November 4 @ 2:00 PM - 3:00 PM

The presenter for this session is Dr. Shoshannah Ganz. Associate Professor of English at Grenfell’s School of Arts and Social Science.

Dr. Ganz creates unique opportunities for students to share their research and other projects through planned events within the community. These events give students the opportunity to share their expertise and make real world connections.
In this session Dr. Ganz will share what factors played into the decision to create opportunities for public engagement as part of her teaching and highlight the benefits she found for her development, as well as those for her students.

This is a hybrid session (offered online and in-person) and it will be recorded.

If attending online, it is recommended that you attend this session using one of the following internet browsers:  Chrome, Microsoft Edge (Chromium) or Firefox. You can join the session 10 minutes before the start time.
