GenAI in the Classroom: Conversations Across Disciplines (CITL Instructor Series)
The presenters for this session are Dr. Jane Buley, Associate Professor, Faculty of Education; Dr. David Churchill, Associate Professor, Dept of Computer Science, Faculty of Science; and Dr. Maria Mayr, Associate Professor, Dept of Modern Languages, Literatures and Cultures, Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences
Join us for a dynamic conversation with professors across university as they share how they’re advising and talking to students about GenAI use in their respective courses. Recognizing that appropriate use can be subjective, panelists will be invited to share their course policies, insights into their specific experiences with GenAI use in their courses and provide personal perspectives on fostering ethical and informed use of GenAI within learning environments.
This is a hybrid session (offered online and in-person) and it will be recorded.
If attending online, it is recommended that you attend this session using one of the following internet browsers: Chrome, Microsoft Edge (Chromium) or Firefox. You can join the session 10 minutes before the start time.
