(CITL Instructor Series)"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><em><strong>The presenter for this session is Dr. Jeanne Sinclair, Assistant Professor, Faculty of Education.<br \/>\n<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n<p>Rubrics are a widely used method for communicating expectations and feedback to students. How can we maximize rubrics for effective feedback\/feedforward? In this session, we discuss how rubric-based assessment can build collaboration, inclusivity, and student ownership of learning. We will also focus on using rubrics to generate higher-order thinking (i.e., critical thinking, problem-solving, and creativity). Dr. Sinclair focus the session on meaningful and pragmatic rubric use, and attendees are encouraged to bring their own rubrics to the session to share and exchange ideas.<\/p>\n<p><strong>This is an online session and it will be recorded. <\/strong>You can join the session 10 minutes before the start time.
