It acts as a central hub for everything students need to access throughout the course. You cannot use your MUN Microsoft account.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Adding Files from Google Drive<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Go to the module in which you want to add the file in your course.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Click either <strong>Upload\/Create &gt; Upload Files<\/strong> or <strong>Existing Activities<\/strong>, and then select\u00a0<strong>Google Drive<\/strong>\u00a0from the dropdown menu.\u00a0(You may be prompted to log into your Google account.)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>In the pop-up window, select the file you want to insert into your course.\u200b\u00a0\u00a0<strong>Note<\/strong>: If your file is not publicly viewable, a notification that says &#8220;This file is private&#8221; will appear. Next to this, a checkbox says &#8220;Change permissions so that anyone with a link can view.&#8221; If you uncheck this box, students\u00a0<strong>will not\u00a0<\/strong>be able to view the file.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Click\u00a0<strong>Select<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Your file is now embedded in your course.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-group note-container has-base-background-color has-background\"><div class=\"wp-block-group__inner-container is-layout-constrained wp-block-group-is-layout-constrained\">\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Note<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>If your file is set to &#8220;Anyone with the link can view,&#8221; your students will just be able to view the document. If it is set to &#8220;Anyone with the link can edit,&#8221; students will be able to make changes to the document. This would be useful for something like a sign-up sheet.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Adding Files from OneDrive <\/h3>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Go to the content module in which you want to add the file.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Click the\u00a0<strong>Existing Activities<\/strong>\u00a0button, then select\u00a0<b>OneDrive<\/b>\u00a0from the dropdown menu.\u00a0(You may be prompted to log in to your Microsoft account and allow D2L (Brightspace) access to your account.)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>In the pop-up window, select the file you want to insert into your course.\u200b<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Click\u00a0<strong>Select<\/strong>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Your file is now linked\u00a0in your course.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-group note-container has-base-background-color has-background\"><div class=\"wp-block-group__inner-container is-layout-constrained wp-block-group-is-layout-constrained\">\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Note<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>By default, files are set to &#8220;Read Only.&#8221; If you want students to be able to makes changes to the file, change the permissions on the file.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Privacy and Security<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Students can see files shared by instructors after the course has ended.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>If students make changes to the documents you share, those changes will be anonymous.
