into discrete steps or lists and allowing them to view their progress towards completion can help relieve that stress. The Brightspace Checklist tool can help you achieve this goal. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Creating a Checklist<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Checklist items must reside in a category.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>On the navbar, click on <strong>Course Admin<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Under <strong>Assessment<\/strong>, click on the&nbsp;<strong>Checklist <\/strong>link<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Click&nbsp;<strong>New Checklist<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Enter your checklist details<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Click <strong>Save<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>On the <strong>Edit Checklist<\/strong> page, in the <strong>Categories and Items<\/strong> area, do any of the following:\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>To add a category to the checklist, click <strong>New Category.<\/strong> Enter your category details and click <strong>Save<\/strong>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>To add an item to the checklist, click <strong>New Item.<\/strong> From the Category drop-down list, select the category for your item. Enter your item details. If you want the item to be due by a certain date or time, select the check box and enter your Due Date information. Click <strong>Save.<\/strong><br><strong>Note:<\/strong> The default due date for a checklist item is one month from the current date. <\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Repeat step 5 until you&#8217;ve added all your content to the checklist.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Click <strong>Save and Close<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading heading5\" id=\"t10003\"><strong>Setting Release Conditions for a Checklist<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list step\">\n<li>On the navbar, click on <strong>Course Admin<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Under <strong>Assessment<\/strong>, click on <strong><span class=\"uicontrol\">Checklist<\/span>s<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>From the context click on the checklist for which you want to set release conditions.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>In the&nbsp;<span class=\"uicontrol\"><strong>Restrictions<\/strong>&nbsp;<\/span>tab, do any of the following:\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Click&nbsp;<strong><span class=\"uicontrol\">Attach Existing<\/span><\/strong>, then select the check box for any condition you want to attach. Click&nbsp;<strong><span class=\"uicontrol\">Attach<\/span><\/strong>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Click<strong>&nbsp;<span class=\"uicontrol\">Create and Attach<\/span><\/strong>, then select a&nbsp;<span class=\"uicontrol\">Condition Type&nbsp;<\/span>from the drop-down list.
