class='content-column two_third last_column'><h1 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Scheduling Class Recordings with Lecture Capture <\/h1>\n\n\n\n<p>If you are assigned to teach in a room equipped with <em>Lecture Capture<\/em>, you can manage your recording schedule directly within Brightspace.  <strong>Before doing so, you should:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Confirm your room allocation.&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>The scheduling of your class recordings is directly linked to a particular room, so any changes will result in recordings not being uploaded properly.&nbsp;<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\" start=\"2\">\n<li>Determine if your course sites need to be combined.&nbsp;&nbsp;\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>If you are teaching multiple sections of the same course, this will need to be done in advance, if not, there will be challenges with all students being able to access the recordings.\u00a0<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\" start=\"3\">\n<li>Make sure all instructors who are teaching within that course\/section are aware the lectures will be recorded. \n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>With the scheduling tool, you can choose which lectures are recorded during the semester, so only the teaching time of those who agreed to the use of lecture capture should be scheduled.\u00a0<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n<p>Now that you have considered these three things, you are ready to schedule your class recordings.&nbsp; Please follow the steps outlined below.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Step 1: Opt in<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Login to Brightspace (<a href=\"http:\/\/online.mun.ca\">https:\/\/online.mun.ca<\/a>)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>On the homepage, go to the <strong>My Dashboard<\/strong> widget and click the <strong>Instructors <\/strong>tile. <strong><br><\/strong><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"773\" height=\"265\" class=\"wp-image-19741\" style=\"width: 500px\"
