Topics range from fostering relationships in the classroom, through fostering student engagement, to alternatives to exams, and many more.  <\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Learning Technology Series<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Hands-on Brightspace workshops are also offered throughout the academic year. These sessions are typically one-hour long and include a presentation, a practical application, and a Q&amp;A at the end. Session topics include Brightspace Essentials, the Grade Book, Video Assignment tool, and many more. These session are focused on elements of one&#8217;s teaching practice, ranging from syllabus construction to assessment strategies and more. For a full list of sessions, please refer to the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.mun.ca\/citl\/events\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">CITL Events Calendar<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Drop-In Consultations<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>CITL offers drop-in consultations to help faculty and instructional staff get their courses ready for the upcoming term.\u00a0These sessions are ideal for quick questions, or exploring new ideas with the guidance and support of CITL&#8217;s teaching and learning team.
