The following settings can be customized:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Profile<\/strong> &#8211; Add a photo and basic information (affiliations, favourite books, etc.) to help students learn a little more about yourself. <\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Notifications<\/strong> &#8211; Control how and when you receive updates (e.g., announcements, discussions, due dates) via email. See below for details.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Account Settings<\/strong> &#8211; Adjust personal preferences such as language, time zone, display options, and accessibility features (e.g., font size)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Contact Methods<\/strong> &#8211; Update your email or mobile settings for course-related communications.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Customization Options<\/strong> &#8211; Set preferences for the display format of your discussions, Brightspace email, and other tools.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-group note-container has-base-background-color has-background\"><div class=\"wp-block-group__inner-container is-layout-constrained wp-block-group-is-layout-constrained\">\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Note<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>These Brightspace settings apply to all courses. It is recommended that you turn on these notifications in Brightspace and customize the settings to meet your preferences. You can customize when and how often you get notices, along with the how to receive them.
