Students may choose to participate in each class session in one of three ways: face-to-face\, online synchronously\, or online asynchronously. Regardless of the format\, students target the same learning outcomes and each format should offer the same level of engagement. This authentic applied learning approach asks students to put into action what they are learning in the course to real-world scenarios. \nIn this session\, Dr. Tiffany Lee will describe how she developed a scaffold assessment approach in her Pharmacy course that had students reflecting on their personal experiences and content knowledge to develop case studies that would be reviewed and actioned by their peers. Through each stage of the assessment\, Dr. Lee guided students through a framework that developed a culture of collegiately where appropriate and constructive feedback enhanced the overall learning experience.
