SUMMARY:High Impact Educational Practices: Developing Citizen and Global Scholars
DESCRIPTION:Due to low registration numbers this session has been cancelled.  \nHigh impact educational practices (HIPs) go beyond the transfer of disciplinary knowledge within post-secondary education by preparing students to become citizen and global scholars. Citizen and global scholars are active and engaged citizens who promote scholarship and engage in knowledge mobilization for the benefit of society. This session will thus explore the role institutions of higher education need to take to develop future citizen and global scholars while highlighting a path forward through the adoption of HIPs.
