DESCRIPTION:This session will cover scheduling and hosting a session using Webex\, including how to integrate Webex into your Brightspace course site. Demonstrations of content sharing\, collaboration tools such as annotation and polls\, and ways to leverage the chat tool will also be provided. As this tool is being used to record both synchronous and asynchronous content\, participants will be taken through the process of recording and publishing\, while being mindful of best practices and privacy considerations. This session will also provide time for Q&A. \n\nThis session will be hosted in Webex. SUMMARY:Brightspace Help Session: Per Course Instructors
DESCRIPTION:Are you a per-course instructor planning to use Brightspace this semester in your on-campus or online course? If so\, please join us for this hands-on session where we will offer a walkthrough of the main Brightspace tools\, and then provide an opportunity to explore the available tools with the assistance of CITL’s instructional designers and Learning Technology Coaches. We will also recap the types of support the Teaching and Learning Exchange (TLX) offers to all instructors at Memorial\, including pairing up an instructor with a Learning Technology Coach who could be available to assist with educational technologies throughout a semester. \nThe session will be hosted in person in the Teaching and Learning Exchange TLX (ED 1001).
