DESCRIPTION:In honor of Open Education Week (click here for more information)\, CITL’s Learning Technology Coaches have prepared a series of workshops for Memorial’s instructors and staff. This session will focus on the value of Open Educational Resources (OER) for students and instructors\, and provide an overview of Zero Textbook Cost (ZTC) programs and initiatives. A guest speaker\, Dr Erika Merschrod (Department of Chemistry\, MUN)\, will provide insight into using OER in her teaching by illustrating how a free online textbook integrated in a Brightspace course site can enhance teaching and learning experiences. \nThis webinar will be hosted in Webex.
