SUMMARY:Introduction to High-Impact Educational Practices
DESCRIPTION:High-impact practices (HIPs) are active learning strategies that promote student engagement and facilitate deep learning. This foundational session will introduce participants to a number of HIPs and explore why they are important to incorporate into curriculum at both the course and program levels. A focus will be on the shared characteristics of HIPs and how these characteristics can inform the design and delivery of engaging and deep learning experiences. \n\nThis session will be hosted in Webex.
