DESCRIPTION:Whether you are new to Brightspace or just need a refresher? The Getting Started session is designed to walk you through the basics for preparing your course site for the start of term. An opportunity will be provided to respond to specific questions about remote instruction in Brightspace. \nTopics include: \n\nOverview of CITL’s Support team\nLogging into Brightspace and accessing your course site\nAdding content to a site\, including the Course Set-up Kit for Remote Instruction\nUsing course mail and announcement to contact your students\nSetting up a discussion forum\nCreating an assignment folder for submissions\nSetting up the Gradebook to track and return grades to students\nActivating your site\nIntroducing online rooms\n\nThe session will run for about an hour – with time for Q/A afterwards. \nNOTE: We prefer you register for the session so we know how many people are attending; however\, you can automatically join the session by clicking the link below.
