instructor require you to give a presentation to the class using online rooms they will provide you with &#8220;Presenter Status&#8221; during the session, this will allow you to access the presenter tools available in Online Rooms including uploading your presentation to the whiteboard and using the whiteboard annotation tool. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Upload Presentations<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>To add a file to use in the whiteboard, click the Actions button (plus icon) found in the bottom left corner. Allowed file types: doc, docx, xls, xlsx, pdf, txt, rtf, jpg, jpeg, png, bmp, html, htm, zip. Max file size: 100MB.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong><em>For best results, please save your file as a .pdf. The last file uploaded will display in the presentation space automatically.<br><\/div><div class='clear_column'><\/div><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Tips for Presenting Online<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Planning your\npresentation&nbsp;<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Presenting\n     online requires preparation of slides, interactive components and talking\n     points.&nbsp;<\/li><li>Be\n     intentional! Ensure you and your audience know the purpose of the\n     presentation.&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/li><li>Don\u2019t\n     forgot the anecdotes. Include examples, stories and details just like you\n     would in an in-person presentation.&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/li><li>Try\n     not to overwhelm your audience; keep slides simple and&nbsp;present\n     information visually when possible.&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Presenting\nonline&nbsp;<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Practice\n     your presentation! Try simulating your presentation as if you were\n     delivering it. Ensure that your equipment works, contact our Support\n     Centre if you have questions.<\/li><li>Prepare\n     your technology in advance and give yourself extra time to\n     troubleshoot.&nbsp;<\/li><li>Inform\n     anyone who might interrupt your presentation that you are recording; this\n     includes turning off your phone or computer notifications.&nbsp;<\/li><li>Know\n     your audience and keep them engaged: consider what activities or\n     discussions can take place in an online forum (polls).<\/li><li>Find\n     out if you can send out information or handouts to your audience to have\n     while you present. A handout can reduce the amount of text needed on\n     slides or offer a way to complete an activity, but keep in mind that it\n     may distract your audience from your presentation.<ul><li>If\n      you are using Online Rooms, your instructor can send handouts via the\n      public chat, you should contact your instructor in advance to co-ordinate\n      this. <\/li><\/ul><\/li><li>If\n     you are using the webcam feature of Online Rooms, consider how you will\n     look on camera: look directly into the camera, stand up to improve\n     breathing and focus, determine what your audience can see and ensure it\u2019s\n     appropriate and not distracting.&nbsp;<\/li><li>Consider\n     the following for audio-only presentations: ensure what you are saying\n     matches your audience\u2019s view, and limit cursor motion to prevent\n     distracting your audience.
